The online atelier

The bespoke ring

A ring with a flat face carries a portrait, initials, an emblem, engraved from the photograph you upload. In the online atelier you set its face, its shoulders, its band and your ring size; the ring takes shape before your eyes, to its exact dimensions, and the house makes it in Paris.

Creating your bespoke ring online

Creating a bespoke ring here needs no appointment: you design the ring online, every setting shows on the piece cut to its real dimensions, and you save it when it feels like yours.

  1. I · The photograph

A portrait, initials, an emblem: upload a photograph and it is engraved on the face. The framing, the relief and the depth can all be set.

  2. II · The face

Its shape — round, oval, cushion, shield, heart… fifteen in all —, its dimensions, its curve and its chamfer: the face of one of the house’s medals, set on the ring.

  3. III · The body and the band

The shoulders that carry the face, the profile and thickness of the band, your ring size from French 40 to 75, half sizes included.

  4. IV · The inside and the material

A few words engraved inside the band, then 18ct gold (750/1000) or sterling silver (925/1000). An email address is enough to save your ring.

Personalised photo ring: which photograph to choose

A ring personalised from a photograph is engraved in relief on a face just a few millimetres across: the photograph must therefore read when small. A face straight on or at three-quarters, a soft light that draws the volumes, a plain background that cuts out cleanly: that is the photograph that gives the most faithful engraving.

For initials or an emblem, a clean drawing, black on white, is better than a photograph of a piece of jewellery or a screen. Upload an image at least 256 pixels on each side, in JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 8 MB; the framing is then set on the face.

An engraved ring, on the face and inside the band

A name, a date, a motto inside the band; a portrait or an emblem on the face. A ring personalised with a name receives its inscription in one of the house’s ten typefaces, at the size and depth you choose. The engraving on the face is set with the same precision as the shape — its depth, its relief, its cut-out —, and the piece you see is the piece the house makes in Paris.

Personalised ring for men or women

The atelier’s new ring carries an oval face of 13 × 14.95 mm on a 3.4 mm D-shaped band. For a men’s bespoke ring, widen the band and the face and choose straight or faceted shoulders; for a women’s ring, narrow the face, refine the band, soften the shoulders. Six shoulder designs and five band profiles combine, dimension by dimension.

Finding your ring size

The atelier works in French sizes: the inner circumference of the ring, in millimetres. Measure a ring you wear on the same finger: its inner diameter multiplied by 3.14 gives the French size, and the table below gives the nearest UK letter. Otherwise, wrap a thread around the base of the finger, mark it, then measure it flat.

Fingers change with warmth: measure at the end of the day, and take the size above if the knuckle is wider than the base.

The house answers

What is a bespoke ring?
A ring made to your ring size and your choices: its face, its engraving, its shoulders, its band. In the online atelier you design it yourself and see it cut before you save it.
How do I find my ring size?
In the UK and Ireland ring sizes are letters. The atelier works in French sizes: the inner circumference of the ring, in millimetres. French size 58 measures 58 mm round, or 18.5 mm across — about a UK Q, a US 8½. Have your finger measured with a ring sizer, or measure a ring you wear on the same finger.
Can a photograph be engraved on a ring?
Yes: the photograph you upload is engraved on the face of the ring. A face straight on, a clean drawing or contrasted initials give the most faithful engraving.
How much does a bespoke ring cost?
The price of a bespoke ring depends first on its metal and its weight — the face, the shoulders, the band you set. The atelier shows that weight, in gold and in silver, at every setting.
Do I need an account to design?
No. You design freely, and your creation is kept on your device. An email address is enough to save it: we send you a link, with no password, that takes you back to it.
Can a piece made to measure be returned?
A piece made to your measurements and engraved for you is exempt from the fourteen-day right of withdrawal (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(c)). That is why the atelier shows it to you cut, dimension by dimension, before you save it.
